A New Chinese Electric Vehicle Brand Sets Its Sights on Pakistan

China’s well-known electric vehicle maker XPENG is preparing to enter Pakistan, adding further momentum to the country’s developing EV market.According to the report, the company’s first expected model is the XPENG G6, a mid-size electric coupe-SUV built on the advanced 800-volt SEPA 2.0 platform, supporting ultra-fast charging from 10% to 80% in nearly 20 minutes.

Internationally, the G6 is available with 66 kWh and 87.5 kWh battery options, offering an estimated WLTP range of 435–570 km, depending on the configuration. Customers abroad can choose between rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) versions.

Performance varies across models, with RWD variants accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 6.6 to 6.2 seconds, while the AWD variant achieves the same in about 4 seconds.

The vehicle includes a five-seat interior, a 2,890 mm wheelbase, 571 liters of cargo space, and a modern digital cabin similar to XPENG’s global lineup.
